Five reasons why Nepal does not need a Constituent Assembly right now! (Part-3)

Here we are again with my top 5 upside down countdown of reason why we should not have a constituent assembly in Nepal right now. As mentioned before this is not related to any political party or political agenda but it is mostly my rant against those people who support this election. Just like those people who rant against Miley Cyrus who don't even have a freaking idea what VMA's are!

3. Absence of significant number of voters!
According to some data sources, 2 lakh Nepalese students go abroad for studies. Most of these students are either above 18 or they are 18. That means most of the students abroad are citizens who have voting rights. Counting them alone, we have 5% voters who are not in the country and I believe from experience that these voters will not drop by once election starts.

I have not even counted the people who have immigrated to foreign nations to settle. Most of these are legal citizens who are entitled to vote. These people will miss the election. Now, that means the voices these people will not be heard. Now, you might say that these people abandoned the nation because they immigrated. I agree there but what about the students. Don't their votes count?

These students will tomorrow head the nation and if there are policies in the constitution that is against their methods, who will answer them? So, my point is this. It is futile to do an election as such. We should rather do a regular representative election which will govern the nation. That way development might take its pace and we might be able to bring those people abroad back. In time, we can also do a constituent assembly to settle our egos.
